Big Little Content is a social first content production company for the professional hair and beauty industry. We make the content, we train the people who make it, and we have done both for most of the biggest names in the sector.

The team
Who we are now
A team of nine, based across Europe, North America and the UAE, with work delivered in more than a dozen countries: the UK and Ireland, the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, France, Germany, Sweden, Switzerland and the UAE.
Every one of us works social first, because that is the only way we have ever worked. Send us a brief and we will turn it into something an audience actually wants to watch, whether that is a product launch, a live event or a monthly library of trend first content.
2018
How it started
In 2018 the business began as Content Kweens, with Ben Lifton sitting down with individual hairdressers to teach them how to set up an Instagram account and take a decent photograph of hair.
Then in 2020 when Covid hit, every salon in the world came to a standstill. Hairdressers who had never had the time, or the confidence, to learn social media suddenly had both, and they wanted to know how their favourite creators were doing it. We don’t gatekeep, so we built The Social Superstar, the industry’s first online course in content creation and social media marketing for hairdressers.
2021 onwards
How it grew
The course went from screens to rooms. And now our training workshops run up and down the UK and Ireland.
In 2021 Content Kweens became Big Little Content. Today we produce social first content for hair and beauty brands worldwide: always on libraries, campaign launches, live event coverage, video podcasts and fully managed social, alongside the training that started it all.
